Design Tips

TIP #1: PUT A BOW ON IT
Adding bows behind smaller accent pieces of art brings a bespoke yet whimsical touch to wall décor. We mostly use vintage striped ribbon.
TIP #2: NO CLOSET, NO PROBLEM
Vintage luggage racks and reclaimed wood ladders make for unique storage solutions, especially for guest bedrooms that have limited closet space.
TIP #3: THE ART OF PAINT
We like to use café tables for interiors, but to give them more of a residential feel, we paint the metal bases in warm muted tones to soften their industrial look.
TIP #4: A BRIGHT IDEA
Lamps add layers and soften your bedroom space, we often use contrasting fabric lampshades to whatever the bed is made of, here we are pairing plaid and floral fabrics.
TIP #5: TIMELESS TREASURES
To bring charm and architectural character to your space, I like replacing standard stock doors with salvaged wood doors, like this one with glass, to make the room feel large.
TIP #6: DUAL DIMENSION
To maximize space in smaller bathrooms, I’m always looking to build-out a 4-inch ledge behind the sink wall for added vanity storage and an elegant design feature.
TIP #7: HIT THE HAY IN STYLE
A well-designed, quality bed isn’t just furniture; it’s the centerpiece of comfort, style, and serenity in your bedroom. Be bold and let your bed design reflect your personality while also creating a sanctuary for well deserved rest and relaxation.
